Where do I vote? Can I access it? How do I get there?
Explore the City Commissioners’ published accessibility information. Address matches are provisional: always confirm your official assignment before Election Day.
Address searches are sent to OpenStreetMap Nominatim and coordinates to Philadelphia GIS. BallotGap does not store your address or put it in shared links. Third-party services have their own privacy policies.

Nonpartisan election research
Use ward comparisons and downloadable CSVs to identify records for follow-up. FH share is a share of division records, not a percentage of voters or unique buildings.

“FH” means the published building code is F and the parking code is H. These are administrative classifications, not an on-site audit. Percentages describe dataset records, not voters.

Published building classifications
Counts are division records, not unique buildings or verified accessible routes. FH is an administrative code, not a guarantee of access.

Compare accessibility across wards and Council districts
Ward comparisons use ward and division codes from the published polling-place dataset. Council district comparisons require a successful official GIS lookup. These figures are screening tools, not a finding that any site violates the law.
| Area | Records | FH | F | A / B | R / M | N | Unknown | FH share |
|---|
FH share = FH records ÷ all records in that area, including unknown codes. Shared polling-place buildings may appear in multiple division records.

Ward comparisons are descriptive screening indicators, not findings of legal noncompliance. Division counts may include repeated physical buildings.
Voting rights and accommodations
Accessible voting systems
Pennsylvania polling places must provide an accessible voting system. Ask poll workers about accessible voting and assistance.
Assistance of your choice
Voters who need assistance because of a disability may choose someone to help, with legal restrictions on certain people.
Alternative ballot and other options
Philadelphia describes alternative ballot options for eligible voters whose assigned locations do not have the FH designation. Rules and deadlines matter. Confirm your eligibility and instructions with the City Commissioners.
About BallotGap & our methods
Built for voters and advocates
BallotGap PHL is an independent, nonpartisan exploration of published Philadelphia polling-place accessibility classifications. It is not operated or endorsed by the City Commissioners or any advocacy organization.
How to interpret the data
The source is the public City Commissioners polling-place dataset served through CARTO. One record represents a ward/division entry. FH means building F and parking H, not a comprehensive accessibility audit. Unique buildings are estimated from normalized addresses, which may combine or split locations. Council districts depend on a separate GIS lookup. The map, transit stop estimates, and provisional division lookup are not substitutes for official voter assignments.
